30 Day Experiment: Positive Communication

Those of you who know me know a few things about me.  One of those things is that I’m hypercritical.  In fact, I’m sometimes critical for the sake of being critical.  It’s a terrible quality, probably one of my worst.   I like to think that I’m stimulating thought in other people, but I’m mostly just upsetting them.   Believing in the power of setting goals, especially those of self improvement, however, I have decided to try a new 30 Day experiment.

30 days of ONLY positive communication.

As simple as it sounds, I know it wont be easy.  This experiment will force me to think about everything I say before I say it, decide whether it’s worth saying, and come up with only positive ways to communicate.  Being a good leader is all about communication, and people don’t listen if you don’t communicate positively and effectively.

So here we go.  30 Days of positive communication starts now.  Wish me luck.  I’ll need it!
